A project in Locuvox represents one brand you want to monitor in AI search. This guide walks through creating your first one.
1. Create the project
From the app, choose New project and enter your brand name and domain. The brand name is what Locuvox looks for in AI answers; the domain is used to attribute citations to you. Pick a default country — this sets the market prompts run in unless you override it per prompt.
2. Add competitors
On the Brands view, tag the rivals you want to track. Locuvox automatically discovers brands that appear in your prompts' answers — you simply mark which are competitors, which is you, and which to ignore. Competitor visibility then appears next to yours everywhere.
3. Add prompts
Prompts are the questions your buyers ask AI. Add a handful to begin — a mix of category questions ("best CRM for small business") and brand questions ("is Acme CRM any good?"). Don't have a list? Open the Suggested tab and add Locuvox's recommendations with a click. See Add & schedule prompts for detail.
4. Let the first check run
Once prompts are added, Locuvox queries every AI engine on your plan. Your first results usually appear within the hour. After that, each prompt runs automatically on the schedule you set — daily, weekly or monthly.
Tip: start small. Ten well-chosen prompts monitored weekly will teach you more than a hundred you never review.
