Privacy Policy
Last updated 21 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Locuvox ("Locuvox", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use our website and the Locuvox application (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address and, for paid plans, billing details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile — your name, email address and profile image — solely to create and authenticate your account.
- Content you provide. The projects, brands, domains, prompts, tags and settings you add to the Service.
- Usage data. Information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, and IP address.
- Monitoring data. Responses retrieved from third-party AI answer engines in connection with the prompts you configure, and the analysis we derive from them.
- Communications. Messages you send us for support or enquiries.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, secure and improve the Service;
- authenticate you and manage your account;
- run the monitoring, analysis, alerting and reporting you configure;
- process payments and manage subscriptions;
- respond to support requests and send service-related communications;
- detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse and security incidents; and
- comply with legal obligations.
3. Google user data
If you sign in with Google, Locuvox's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use Google profile data only to authenticate you and operate your account. We do not sell this data, do not use it for advertising, and do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy or with your consent.
4. AI answer engines & third-party processors
To deliver the Service, prompts you configure are sent to third-party AI answer engines and search providers, and their responses are returned to us for analysis. We also rely on the following categories of sub-processor: cloud hosting and storage, payment processing, email delivery, and product analytics. Each is bound to handle data only as needed to provide their service to us.
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service, and limited analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may prevent the Service from working.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only: with sub-processors acting on our behalf; when you direct us to (for example, by publishing a shared dashboard); to comply with law or enforce our agreements; and in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
7. Data retention
We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete a project or close your account, associated data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal, accounting or security obligations.
8. Security
We use technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege practices — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise many of these rights directly in the app, or by contacting us. We will respond in line with applicable law, including the GDPR and CCPA where relevant.
10. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with an updated date and, where changes are material, notify you through the Service.
