Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Locuvox website and application (the "Service"), provided by Locuvox ("Locuvox", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

1. The Service

Locuvox is an AI search visibility platform that monitors how AI answer engines mention, rank and describe brands, and presents the resulting analysis. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 16 and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3. Plans, trials & billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Free trials convert to a paid plan unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI checks. Usage beyond the allowance is billed as overage at the rate shown for your plan.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We may change pricing on renewal with reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service; resell or provide access to the Service except as expressly permitted (for example, under a whitelabel plan); or use the Service to monitor brands or content in violation of applicable law.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of the projects, prompts and configuration you add ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited licence to host and process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and content, is owned by Locuvox and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription; no other rights are granted.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party AI answer engines, search providers and infrastructure. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, content or changes. Answer-engine responses are generated by third parties and may be inaccurate or change without notice.

8. Whitelabel & reseller use

If you use a whitelabel or reseller plan, you are responsible for your own clients, your pricing and your compliance with applicable law, and you agree these Terms continue to govern the underlying Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that its analysis will be accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Locuvox will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and Customer Data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here with an updated date and, where changes are material, notify you through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
