What is an AI check?
An AI check is the unit Locuvox bills on. One check is a single prompt put to a single AI engine, once. If you track 10 prompts weekly across 5 engines, that's about 200 checks a month. Your plan's monthly allowance is pooled across every project in your account.
Plan allowances
Every plan includes a monthly check allowance, a prompt cap, a number of AI engines, projects and team seats. The full breakdown is on the pricing page. The free plan is a small allowance you can stay on indefinitely; paid plans add capacity and features.
Overage
If you use more checks than your allowance in a billing period, additional checks are billed as overage at your plan's per-check rate. If you find yourself regularly in overage, upgrading to the next plan is cheaper — Locuvox will tell you when that's the case.
Trials & billing
- Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial — no card required to begin.
- Plans are billed monthly or annually; annual billing is priced at ten months for twelve.
- You can upgrade, downgrade or switch billing period at any time; changes are prorated.
- Cancelling stops renewal at the end of the current period — you keep access until then.
Managing your subscription
Plan, payment method and invoices are all managed under your organisation's billing settings. Whitelabel and reseller billing is covered separately on the whitelabeling page.
Tip: set frequent prompts to weekly rather than daily unless they're genuinely fast-moving — it stretches your check allowance a long way.
